On July 16, 2024, 44 students from the second high school of Jinan Shenquan Foreign Language School gathered at Jinan West Railway Station on time. With hope and longing, the students took the train to Shanghai and officially began their study trip to Shanghai Jiao Tong University。After the train arrived in Shanghai, the students got on the bus in an orderly manner. On the way, the leading teacher patiently explained the arrangement and precautions of the research trip for the next five days and four nights. The students listened carefully。

day 1

The first stop was to enter the classroom of East Middle School of Shanghai Jiao Tong University Minhang Campus for the opening ceremony. The teachers of Jiao Tong University explained the history, development and enrollment policy of Jiao Tong University to the students. The students gained a lot。After that, a small experiment was conducted to distinguish hybrid seeds. The students actively raised their hands to participate in the experiment, experienced the experiment process and shared the experimental results with each other。

The second stop，Enter the History Museum of Jiao Tong University，The students followed the teacher to experience the development of Shanghai Jiao Tong University from beginning to end，Since its founding in 1896，Jiaotong University has a history of 128 years，After the visit, the biggest feeling of the students is to follow the example of excellent predecessors，Study hard，Try your best to get into a better university。

day 2

The first stop was to enter the Li Zhengdao Library of JTU and learn about the faculties and specialties of JTU. What impressed the students most was the development of science and engineering majors of JTU, including physics, chemistry and other related majors. The development history and achievements were impressive。

The second stop, entering the laboratory of the School of Environmental Engineering of Jiaotong University, under the guidance of professional teachers and seniors, the students personally participated in the water purification experiment。From theoretical learning, fetching water on campus, carefully carrying out the experiment process, observing the experiment process, and drawing the experimental results, the students gained a lot in each step. Finally, representatives from each group came on stage to share the experimental results。The students performed very well and were recognized and praised by the teachers and seniors of Jiaotong University。

day 3

The first stop is to visit the Xuhui Campus of Shanghai Jiao Tong University。After entering Xuhui Campus, the biggest feeling of students is that compared with Minhang campus, the campus of Xuhui Campus is much smaller, and the buildings are older, but the academic atmosphere and cultural heritage are stronger。The exquisite campus is almost full of advanced professional and graduate professional schools, and artificial intelligence research is even more impressive。

The second stop is the Shanghai World Expo Museum。Shanghai World Expo 2010 is a great event for China to show its national strength to the world. Students experienced the historical changes of the Shanghai World Expo from its construction to the present in the World Expo Museum。In addition, students also learned about the history and events of World Expos in various countries around the world。

In the third stop, the students came to the site of the Communist Party of China, and followed the docent teachers to experience and learn the history of the development of the Communist Party of China。When the content of the history textbook is presented in front of the truth, the students' biggest feeling is the development of the Communist Party of China, every step is amazing, and every predecessor is admired。

At the fourth stop, students came to the Bund in Shanghai to see the Oriental Pearl Tower and Jin MAO Tower up close。When night came and the lights were on, students held up their mobile phones to take pictures and record the beautiful night scene of the Bund in Shanghai。

day 4

The first stop, the students came to the China Maritime Museum, followed the docents to learn and experience the history of Chinese maritime, watched the development of China's maritime military。After visiting the Liaoning, the students made a model of the Liaoning with their own hands, which was full of a sense of accomplishment。

In the second stop, the students came to the training base of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, visited and learned the development of robotic arms and artificial intelligence robots. After the visit, the students listened to the sharing of artificial intelligence robots brought by the senior students of Jiao Tong University, and truly combined theory and practice, and gained a lot。

day 5

In the morning, the students came to the classroom of the East Jiaotong University and completed the closing ceremony。The graduate sister of Jiaotong University introduced the university life of Shanghai Jiaotong University to the students in depth. The students listened carefully and their eyes were full of longing。In the afternoon, the students came to the last stop of this research - Shanghai Jinmao Tower。

During this research trip to Shanghai Jiao Tong University, students have a new understanding of knowledge and a clearer direction for the future。It makes students understand that university is not only a temple of knowledge, but also a cradle for cultivating innovative thinking and shaping independent personality。Students will take this valuable experience and sentiment, in the future study and life, continue to work hard, the pursuit of excellence, towards their dreams。
